HOME PRACTICE

Throughout life's ups and downs; during its many stages my home yoga practice has been my rock, and at times a life raft.  No matter what is going on in my life my yoga mat is my refuge, my practice a moment just for me. My practice has changed over the years, it's seen me through three pregnancies, a divorce: the good times and the bad. A constant in my life.

A few points about home yoga

  • It doesn't need to be a long session, fifteen to twenty minutes done four or five days a week will give great rewards. The key is consistency.

  • It doesn't need to be complicated. In fact you will get the best results from a simple routine that slowly morphs in line with your changing needs.

  • You don't need equipment. Just a mat, maybe a scarf or a belt to help with some stretches. And no expensive yoga wear, pyjamas do just fine!

And lastly, it doesn't mean you can't continue going to group classes if you want, classes can be fun!

Maybe you know a sequence of asanas from a class you have attended, or maybe you are following along with a You Tube video. Great! This where I can help. I can pop by once in a while, check what you're doing and give you some suggestions.
If you are a complete beginner or you want a more personalised service I can design a practice that fits in with your daily routine, your goals and level of experience.
No matter your age, fitness level or weight you can develop a rewarding yoga practice at home.
